The FatCat score · agencies, consultancies and service firms

The marketing score for agencies and consultancies.

You sell expertise, so your own marketing is the sample. We read your site, your posting and your pipeline answers, and score whether the shop front matches the sales pitch.

What we read

What the score settles

  1. 01Whether referrals are a channel or the only channel.
  2. 02Whether your positioning is specific enough for anyone to search for.
  3. 03What a new client actually costs you to win.

What you get

A score out of 100 and the seven vitals under it: keystone, economics, retention, resilience, measurement, positioning and acquisition engine. The money leaking, priced from your own figures. Where what you told us and what we read disagree, the disagreement named, your words quoted exactly, and which side the evidence is on. Then a plan: what to do now, what next, what later, and the one number that will prove each move worked. Do what it says, come back, re-score.

Questions agencies, consultancies and service firms ask

Most of our work comes by referral. Will the score punish that?
No. It will name it, price it, and say what happens the month the referrals stop. That is the point of a score rather than a compliment.
How is the score calculated?
By arithmetic, not by a model's opinion. Your answers and what we read from your accounts go into a fixed scoring law, so the same inputs always produce the same number. The writing around the score is AI-assisted; the score itself is not.
What if I do not track something?
Then say so. "I don't track this" is a first-class answer. The report lists it as unknown, tells you what knowing it would be worth, and names the number to start writing down.
